Having a civilian husband, I am the most likely out of our little group to be around for an extended period of time. While our family is thrilled to stay in Seoul for another few years, we are sad to see our friends leave. With Cindy’s upcoming departure, she knew it was time to pass the HWSK torch to another photographer. Cindy spent 35 weeks with us here at How We See Korea and we will miss her more than I can say. Well,
I could say, but then I’d cry and that will have to wait for another day. I wanted to take a minute of your time to look back on some of Cindy’s photos.
This was the first photo Cindy posted. I remember getting an email with quite a few photos in it and her trying to make me decide which she should post. When in doubt, always go with the giant rubber ducky!
was so popular, the rest of us don’t stand a chance. It’s not even close. I hope that builds your confidence, my friend!
I tried to pick my favorite of Cindy’s photos. In all honesty they’re all favorites for different reasons. You can hit the play button on the slideshow and see all of her photos. She’s brought us everything from dogs in goggles, runners in unitards, and trombonists dressed up at pumpkins to the joy of an amusement park ride and the sweetness of a kiss under an umbrella.
On a happier note, Cindy requested that Bethany take her place and Bethany agreed. Bethany has guest blogged with HWSK twice over the last 6 months and Amber and I are absolutely delighted to welcome her to the weekly team. Bethany has her own blog that I’d highly recommend you check out. Not only is she a fantastic photographer, she’s a great writer as well.
Cindy, we’ll be praying for you as your feet are guided down a different path. Bethany, I can’t wait to see how YOU see Korea!
