Continuing our theme of taking small children to places with vast destruction potential, we headed south this week to the Wootdali Cultural Village in Gyeonggi-Do. In addition to providing a concert venue, lessons for traditional Korean instruments and music, and an inexplicable petting zoo, Wootdali also has a ceramics studio. Alongside shelves of traditional Korean pottery are plates bearing the likeness of Angry Birds and Spongebob SquarePants. On the top racks were a few ceramic pieces that caught my eye. They reminded me of those mysterious moia statutes on Easter Island.
