We moved into our apartment last January, so for almost a year the Seoul Tower has been part of our view. I got a little higher for this shot, going to the 32nd floor in our building. Isn’t the tower gorgeous at night?! Some say that the colors are a code for air quality, but according to the Korea Tourism Organization the lights are coordinated with seasons or events. The rumor goes that when the tower is blue the air is good enough to jog in. But I’ve seen the tower dressed in blue when I hadn’t seen the closest mountain range that day because of the poor air quality. My theory is that it’s someone’s job to flip a switch and he just goes with whatever suits his mood. I would, wouldn’t you?
