Week 16- Amber

This week brought me an afternoon out and about in the city with two other wonderful ladies. We went to a cafe called Mustoy. It reminded me in some ways of the paint your own pottery places that we have in the US. This was different in that all of the pieces were essentially small variations on this little figure that you can see pictured in the black and white card in the center of the photo…or you can see our actual figurines undecorated in this photo. While we sipped americanos we used permanent marker to decorate this little guys/gals however we pleased. On display all around the cafe were variations by other customers. I spotted an Angry Bird, Charlie Brown, Korean hipsters, and Pororo to name a few. You can even purchase little knit hats or beaded necklaces to adorn your figurine. Best part (besides the company

Hat tip to this blogger for sharing her fun experience at this cafe which prompted us to venture out and try it.

  • Trish - Is this a place for kids, adults or both?ReplyCancel

    • Amber - Trish- Adults and Preteens or Teens. Far too many breakables for little kids. I was even nervous about breaking my own piece! 🙂 Plus you draw on your figure with permanent markers and I wouldn’t want many of my kids using them.ReplyCancel
