Week 16 – Elizabeth

Jessica refuses to iMessage me until I post my weeks-overdue photo assignment(s). As it turns out, a day without a Jessica text is like a thousand years in iWorld. However, I’m not doing a whole lot of seeing Korea these days. A few weeks ago, we decided to skip out on the horrid Korean January in exchange for a few weeks of sunny West Coast glory. Our very first stop was a two-day stint in Tokyo. We spent most of those two days on the Tokyo metro system (one particularly memorable leg involved all five of us falling asleep and missing our stop). But in addition to the Great Tokyo Train Adventure and stuffing our faces at every available opportunity, we also managed to visit the special observatory deck of Tokyo Tower at sunset. On this particular evening, we could see clear out to Mount Fuji.
