Week 33- Amber

Seoul Friendship Fair took place this past weekend and we decided to go and visit; lured mainly by the knowledge that a certain African country that is near and dear to my heart would likely have a booth there. Upon exiting the subway, we were greeted by more foreigners than I even knew existed in Korea. It was pretty awesome to see so many skin tones in what is typically a non-diverse nation. The festivities included performances from the different countries as well as Korea. My favorite part though was the food booths. Each country had their own booth where they sold some of the foods typical of their home countries. We enjoyed food from Brazil, Spain, Turkey, and Nepal. And true to the name of the festival, I even met a new friend!
