I finally made it to the Yangjae Flower Market. I hear that if you’re searching for a specific flower and can’t find here, you will not be able to find it in Korea. Unfortunately I did not get to test this claim since Elizabeth and I picked the one day of the year when the cut flower portion of the market closes for what we were told is their “summer vacation.” Brilliant, right?! The potted plant section was open though and we saw more varieties of orchid than my wildest dreams could have predicted. They were incredible. Since an orchid under my care would probably not live to see the next day, I resisted the urge to take one home with me.
Note: This was probably the most stroller friendly place I’ve been in Korea. Unexpected, to say the least.
