Week 38 – Jessica

All three How We See Korea contributors (and one future blog contributor!! and our combined 12 children!) headed back to Yangjae Flower City today.  Fortunately this day was more successful than the last and the cut flower part of the market was open.  This place goes on and on.  And on.  I noticed this little bunch of flowers by the stairs.  Yes, stairs.  There is a second floor.  I thought it was so sweet that in the middle of the rows of gorgeous, show stopping flowers, as well as the general hustle and bustle, someone took the time to make a little vase and brighten up the staircase.

  • Kelly - What a randomly placed little bunch of flowers. Love this. I’ve got to make it to this market! I saw it on the way to Gabe’s new school. Did you drive there or subway there?ReplyCancel

  • Jessica - I’ve driven twice. The subway stop is close. Two train changes from us. It’s an easy drive though and they have a parking lot. Citizen’s Forest is next door to the market. It’s fun to go to the market and then have a picnic in the park.ReplyCancel
