A walk through Myeongdong brought us to the Myeongdong Cathedral (명동성당). It seems tucked away, so it was surprising how
much ground there is on the other side of the gate. The handy English brochure indicated that, although the building itself was built in the late 1800’s, Korea’s first Christian church was planted at this location in the 1700’s.
Happily, the rain stopped just long enough for me to brave pulling out my camera.
