Year Three, Week Seven – Jessica

3-7

My husband and I visited Hong Kong this week and I couldn’t help but compare this other huge Asian city with Seoul.  For those who live here in Seoul this will sound crazy, but in Hong Kong people smoke more, the pollution levels are worse, and the buses are crazier.  It’s all true!  The one thing Hong Kong has over Seoul for me though is the amount of English (and the quality of English … sorry Seoul).  Now, you know I love Seoul, but this reminder of the ease of living in my own culture has me craving a visit to the US.  Upon our return to Seoul we walked down to the Cheonggyecheon see the lantern festival.  It’s always a beautiful site.  This other little bit of home popped out at us.  Just a few more weeks, USA!  I’m coming!
