Year Three, Week Thirty-Five – Leah

schoolceremony

We had a school assembly/ceremony last Saturday to view the teacher-award presentations.
The boys were lined up on the soccer field by grade – 1st year on the far left to 3rd year on the far right. They took about 10 minutes before the ceremony to measure out distances between each other; achieving these near perfect lines. These boys in the picture are second year students, signified by their blue name patch. None of them are my students since I teach only first year, but I know a few of them from different activities and things.
Same as at the ceremonies at Ewha girl’s high school, my previous job, the teachers stood in the shade while the students were in the sun.
