Year Two, Week Four – Cindy

We spent last weekend with the HWSK gang at Seoraksan National Park and it was truly amazing. The weather was spot on perfect, the leaves were turning, and the view was as stunner. And while I had high hopes of capturing a truly awesome photo in the park, it was not to be. My pictures were lousy. I mean blaaaaahhhhhh. My hubby’s were better than what I managed to get on the camera, which was a whole lot of nothing good. And for the record, that just added insult to injury.

So instead, you’re getting a little snapshot of what I found hilarious as we walked around the port of Daepo in Sokcho one evening.

Gotta a little laundry to dry? Hang it up on the rack with your squid. Chores and dinner done in a flash. That’s what I call some serious multi-tasking. Why can’t I get the hang of this? Washcloths and a ribeye on my laundry rack. I’m certain the neighbors would be so thrilled.

  • Grandma Rita - And the little squid is so cute, who could ever eat him!ReplyCancel

  • Aimee - I LOVE it!!! SIGH! Nothing is as good as what you have right now! 🙂 Enjoy every moment!!!ReplyCancel

  • Sherri - This is a PERFECT picture of Korea – maybe you’ve been here awhile and don’t remember that laundry racks are strange, and laundry racks next to the STREET is really weird, and HEY – let’s just tack on DINNER which looks like the monster in Megamind… Yup. Totally captures this funny place. (No more dumping on your pix – you have a natural sense of color and composition, and your eye for Korean craziness is perfect). 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Amber - Yes yes yes! This is so funny and SO Korea!ReplyCancel

  • Cindy - Thanks all! I totally agree with Sherri the squid looks like Megamind. HILARIOUS!ReplyCancel
