Year Two, Week Fourty-two – Guest

Dina Farmer South Korea 66

This is my favorite image for my trip to South Korea near Songtan to visit my husband while he is stationed there.  This young woman was actually at an open air market in Hongdae, Seoul.  We only took one trip up there during my short visit but it was amazing to see so many people and so much culture in such a short time period.  I noticed how different the fashion was there and how EVERYONE has a cellphone and not just iPhones but huge Samsungs etc.

It was amazing to get a chance to see the life my husband was living so far away from us.  Eating the same foods, visiting the same places and visiting a place so unlike the States.

  • Jessica - This would be in my top 5 if I had to pick favorite HWSK posts. It’s just so quirky and so Korea!ReplyCancel

  • Bethany - This lighting is beautiful! Hongdae is one of my favorite areas; you never know what you are going to find!ReplyCancel

  • Dina - Oh my gosh Thanks Jessica and Bethany! I really had no idea what to expect when I got there. Hongdae was sooooooooo busy but so nice. I saw this girl at the open air market and I was like I gotta get her! I’ll be so mad at myself later if I don’t get this small little moment!

If I could I would have gone to Seoul more like my husband kept asking me to. Haha.ReplyCancel
