This week brought a much needed family vacation to Jeju island. Jeju Island is off of the southern tip of Korea and is hailed by many as the “Hawaii of Korea”. While I wouldn’t quite compare it to Hawaii, it was a beautiful island and a wonderful relaxing way to spend a few days. Jeju is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, I think largely for its history of volcanic activity. There was plenty to do on this island. Our family’s adventures included trying black pig barbeque, swimming in the ocean, walking through a long underground lava tube, visiting several waterfalls, running through a green tea field, and putting the car in neutral and rolling up a hill (a road there that has an optical illusion).
