Year Two, Week Thirteen – Cindy

I love shopping the Korean markets at Christmas, especially down in Namdaemun, where you can find crazy dancing Santas, intricate Korean rice wrapping paper, and any color of satin ribbon you could dream up. One of the oldest markets in Seoul (as in 1414 old), Namdaemun stands in the shadow of a stunning gate built in the 14th century, erected centuries before the celebration of Christmas came to Korea.

  • Amber - Stop taking such great pictures!!! Ok…don’t. Put this one in the Christmas book that i’m buying from you okay? I love the reflection of the buildings (and you!) in the bulbs and Namdaemun in the background. Perfect.ReplyCancel
