Year Two, Week Thirty-six – Jessica

2-36This week, my family drove over to Samcheok on the east coast.  While Samcheok’s main attraction is a rather infamous park, we found some other things to do.  We road rail bikes, toured the largest limestone cave in Korea, visited the site of the 2018 Olympics, and checked off a few things that have been hanging out on our ROK bucket list for far too long.  The weather was perfect, so we ate lunch near the water and thoroughly enjoyed a much needed vacation.

  • Sherri - Lovely shot – such clean concrete “jacks” by the ocean (ours are far filthier). I might now be persuaded that Samcheok is indeed worth visiting for reasons besides the infamous park.ReplyCancel

  • Grampa - Jessi, so you DIDN’T go to that park, right? They have some kind of weird park on Jeju Island, too. Strange. I’ve never thought of the procreative appendage to be artworthy; perhaps chuckleworthy, at best.ReplyCancel

  • Bethany - I love the sharp colors in this pictures. I’ve learned to appreciate blue skies, and this one is perfect!ReplyCancel
