Year Two, Week Thirty-Two—Amber

playfood

Yesterday we went to the Children’s Museum at Children’s Grand Park. If you have littles (maybe 8 and under?), I highly recommend that you go! While playing in the pretend house area I noticed a big discrepancy between Korean and American culture. The play food. In the US, we have toast, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, and cereal boxes. Maybe some fake plastic peas and carrots. Here in Korea they have bibimbap, rice, curry, noodles, and sashimi. Just another little reminder of our cultural differences.
