Year Two, Week Thirty-two – Bethany

I do not live in downtown Seoul, but in the outskirts of the city. Although my neighborhood still has large apartment buildings, it is considered to be “the country.” Every available plot of land in our neighborhood comes alive in spring and summer. Koreans are avid gardeners and will use every spot of dirt they can. It is always the older generation that I see out in the gardens, but I’ve never seen a group with more dedication to vegetables.
