A few months ago, a flower shop opened in our apartment building. It’s a beautiful little shop and the people who work there are so sweet, clearly taking pride in what they do. They use the hall between the two towers of the complex for their overflow. Usually at the beginning of the week, they get in a shipment of flowers. Over the course of the week, these flowers turn into arrangements and are whisked off on Saturday morning for their destined wedding hall. I greatly enjoy the beauty of this weekly happening, especially in the winter when I’m
greeted daily with such glory as I walk through this area. The flowers are usually white lilies and accompanying greenery, but this week I was delighted to see some color. Since tulips are my favorite flower, this sighting gave me an extra little thrill.
